IV is a killer album, though it had no right to be! By then they were gasping for air, and it took them forever to record the damn thing. But the end result is REALLY great. "I Don't" being a personal fave. Plus their cover of CCR's "Fortunate Son" is almost as blistering as the original. The songs that make them brilliant are "Shit Hits The Fan", "Killing For Jesus", "Making The Bomb", "Wonderful" and their version of "Wild In The Streets" is blistering.
Markii, I haven't seen them latley. But to this day, the most amazing live show I have ever seen for pure energy and angst and all that, was their original "Farewell" tour, back in '89 I think it was. I had seen them a few times before, but nothing compared to that nights show. They were simply amazing, and Keith Morris controlled the crowd like nobody I had ever seen, even during a point where everything should have fallen apart, he turned bad things happening into the most amazing thing I had ever seen. I hated the Jerks until I saw them live in '86 or so. I fell in love with them after that.
